Seminar: Ease of Doing Business in Thailand

Thailand is currently ranked 21st out of a total of 190 countries in ease of doing business according to the authoritative Doing Business 2020, a World Bank Group flagship publication. This annual study measures regulations that enhance business activity and those that constrain it, based on aggregate scores relating to the following twelve indicators:

1. Starting a Business 7. Protecting Minority Investors
2. Employing workers 8. Paying Taxes
3. Dealing with Construction Permits 9. Trading across Borders
4. Getting Electricity 10. Contracting with the government
5. Registering Property 11. Enforcing Contracts
6. Getting Credit 12. Resolving Insolvency

The Mahanakorn Partners Group (MPG)’s Ease of Doing Business in Thailand seminar will focus on the Thai regulatory and business environment relating to these Doing Business topics. The seminar will provide insights on how to start a business in Thailand, how to operate an existing business in Thailand while avoiding common challenges, and how to effectively manage the business’ legal, tax and other regulatory obligations.
